This shirt from my brother came with a speaker and a box that played various sounds and musical flourishes. You can also load your own sounds on it making it perfect for small projects. Which is why it's not in the shirt anymore.

I curled at Rutgers for a couple years. Even went to college nationals in Wisconsin. April and I then curled in Pittsburgh for 4-5 years.

I bought this at Goodwill for a Hackers party I hosted. Clearly Hackers of the mid-90s would wear this. It's my 3rd and final nylon shirt.

A shirt I got from April. The summer in between her two year Masters program she participated in it.

The Magic Mirror group (Ray, Ingrid, and I) went down to this in 2003 and put on a show during one of the screenings. It was well received and a fun experience. At one point I tried to run along a wall and fell (though Ingrid did try to stop me).

Supporting Galaxy Force (Orion Trail) is the best. Nothing can happen when I wear this bright red shirt!

My other camping shirt. It's synthetic so it wicks sweat. Which really means when it gets warm it stinks... I used it for Bandit Keith cosplay until I got a completely plain red cotton shirt.

Martin and Chris led this craziness for many years. I made it up to Boston in 2005. You raft down the Charles, tie on to larger boats, watch fireworks, then try not to die or get swept out to sea while getting your ass to the shore among aforementioned large boats. It was awesome!

Bridgewater, NJ. Timeless Heritage. I bought this shirt in a Pathmark in Somerville, Bridgewater's neighbor. The neck and sleeves have blue lining which make it look like you're wearing two shirts. Because... duh.

This is one of my two nylon (quick drying) backpacking shirts. Great shirt but because it wicks sweat it tends to smell quickly.

2012 Southside Soup shirt. The stains are the design, the spoon in the pocket looks gross, this is really not a good shirt. I bought it sight unseen. Next year they showed the image when you bought the tickets (I assume I was not alone in my displeasure.)

Lobstercrombie and Pinch. I love this Maine shirt. It always gets a chuckle when I point it out to people who assume it's that other company. Bought on Main St in Rockland, Maine.

BVW shirt from my class Spring 2002. It was the last spring class before they moved to fall. I had 3 worlds in the show: Extreme Pi�ata, Extreme River Rafting, and Extreme X-Men. (Extreme Volcano Para-Jumping almost made it in.)

Bought in 2015 as part of Disney's March Magic, a riff on March Madness, this shirt is dear to me because I helped create the Midway Mania ride we all know and love.

I played Yu-gi-oh! at King's Games back in 2003. It's still going strong in 2016 (both store and game). I can't remember if I got this as a prize or for judging though.

April got me this shirt. It depicts the subway map of Middle Earth. As you can see, you can't just walk into Mordor but you can take the red line.

Got this shirt wrapped in a package the size of a sponge. When cut free it expanded into a big full size shirt. Well, medium sized adult shirt, which makes it one of the smallest shirts I wear.

Waterman's Community Center in North Haven, Maine puts out these shirts as fundraisers. I love these shirts, most feature depictions of the signs I grew up seeing on the building that now houses the community center and they take me back. Also, they're great conversation starters and super comfortable.

I received this shirt from my mother but since I have since been to Kyoto myself I feel no qualms about wearing it. Kyoto is an amazing city and I highly recommend going if you ever get to Japan.

Complimentary Yu-gi-oh! shirt, Crossroads of Chaos in the 5Ds days. Clearly the best series, 5Ds was amazing, and Black Rose Dragon is amazing too.

A couple of yugioh friends and I formed a team, when that sort of thing was all the rage. These shirts are all I have to show for it now, but they're pretty cool. Seishou in Japanese roughly translates to unity (on top on back), victory (bottom right), energy (bottom left), and green-ish (hence the color). Maloney, if you're reading this, drop me a line : )

Went to Perth in 1995 with mom. Got this shirt there. Outside of Perth, on a day trip, I found the fountain of youth, and I have the shoes to prove it.

Oldwick NJ is straight out of my childhood. I would go there every Easter to go in the bunny hole, a multi-floor secret passage miniature viewing extravaganza done by The Magic Shop every year. I take Jillian there now. Also, Oldwick was the destination of adventurous (10 miles) bike riding, where chocolate milk and Twinkies waited.

Eagle Island is off the coast of an island off the coast of Maine. It has ~10 year round residents. Some of which sold me this shirt out of their closet/gift shop. We had no money so my mom sent them a check later in the mail.

S&S Candy and Cigar is a Southside institution. I like buying bulk classic (Bottlecaps) candy and Blend from them. When a wall of their building fell over in 2011, they just built it back up and kept going.

I worked as project director for 2.5 years on Lexica, a tablet game to engender a love of reading in middle school students. At the time it was both my high and low watermark in my career.

Another fundraiser shirt from Waterman's. So comfortable and so unique, I love these shirts.

I feel like a soccer fan in this shirt. My middle brother gave me it and it's literally straight out of the 80s.

I did not like Moxie when I first tried it, but fast forward 3 years and I've loved it ever since (2004 or so). It is truely distinctly different and did you know the word came from the drink? People who drank Moxie had a certain quality, which became known by the name of the refreshing tonic that enabled it.

This is actually the 2001 BVW shirt, the class before mine. Randy gave it to me to wear when my 1 week team demoed our white water rafting virtual world for the provost of CMU. Randy really liked that world.

No this is not a Thomas Kincaid painting. Thomas Kincaid is a production line print making as original sellout. That said, I have no idea where I got this shirt.

This was a ride (The Sum Of All Thrills) we created with Disney for Epcot Innoventions. It was literally awesome. You designed a rollercoaster and then virtually rode it strapped to a giant robotic arm. I was the voice of the naming system: 'Blazing Cobra!'

Strike of Neos brought us Six Samurai! I love Six Sam.

I picked design and colors and watched it be screen printed right before my eyes in the Pop-Tart store in Times Square in 2011.

Schell had a contest to make a shirt. This is my design. It didn't win so I printed a one-off because I liked it so much.

While I've not technically been to the north shore of Hawaii depicted in this shirt, I have been to a northern shore of Maui, so it counts.

Rob and I teamed up to compete in the first ever Pittsburgh's Amazing Bowling Race. We'd answer clues to go to bowling alleys to accomplish challenges to get more clues. It was totally fun and we found out there are dozens of bowling alleys in and around Pittsburgh.
